About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and conscientious Administration Assistant to join a growing construction support team based in Kirrawee.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within the insulation and sheetmetal sector of the construction industry.
You will work closely with administrators, estimators, project managers and site teams to support the smooth delivery of projects from start to finish. The role offers exposure to a wide range of administrative, coordination, compliance and project support tasks. A strong understanding of workplace health and safety, compliance and SWMS (Protected Work Method Statements)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to Project Managers, estimators and internal teams.
- Assist with general office administration, including accounting, estimating and fabrication support tasks.
- Maintain accurate project records, documentation and client communications.
- Monitor and manage multiple inboxes, ensuring timely responses and actioning of requests.
- Track administration tasks and ensure completion within required timeframes.
- Maintain and update project reporting systems and filing structures.
- Support compliance requirements including SWMS, site inductions, registers and WHS documentation.
- Assist in developing and maintaining safety and project management procedures.
- Ensure safety and compliance documentation is accurately maintained and readily available.
- Assist with monitoring documentation requirements across projects.
- Source and research pricing for materials and supplies as required.
- Provide general administrative support across the business as needed.
- Participate in training and development to support project and operational requirements.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a busy administration role – essential.
- Demonstrated experience working with workplace health and safety requirements and SWMS – essential.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures, compliance documentation, site inductions, registers and maintaining accurate WHS records – essential.
- Experience or exposure to construction or project coordination – highly desirable.
- Strong conscientious approach to work with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a structured and organised way.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate MS Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within the construction industry.
