Role Highlights
This is a customer-focused role suited to someone who enjoys building relationships while managing outstanding accounts across Homecare & NDIS portfolios.
Reporting to the Transactional Services Team Leader, you'll proactively engage with clients, contractors and stakeholders by phone, email and written correspondence to support the timely resolution of outstanding balances.
You'll maintain accurate records of all communications and payment arrangements, negotiate manageable outcomes within delegated authority, and work closely with internal teams to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies, all while maintaining a professional and respectful approach.

Responsibilities
Proactively manage outstanding accounts across Homecare & NDIS portfolios
Engage in proactive collection activities including phone, email and written communication
Maintain accurate records of all communications and payment arrangements
Negotiate and manage payment arrangements within delegated authority
Follow up on broken payment arrangements and take appropriate actionEscalate complex, high-value or high-risk accounts to the relevant manager
Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies relating to outstanding balances
Liaise with internal stakeholders to support the resolution of outstanding accounts
Provide clear communication regarding outstanding balances, payment expectations and account status
Support audit processes by providing accurate documentation and records
Contribute to the development and refinement of collection processes and procedures
Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive financial and personal information appropriately
Candidate Profile
You will ideally have 2-3 years' experience in debt collection, accounts receivable, credit control or a customer service role involving account resolution.
Experience in healthcare, workforce or professional services environments is desirable, but not essential.
You'll have strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to manage difficult or sensitive conversations professionally and confidently.
High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office are essential.
You're professional, resilient and outcome-focused, with a proactive and persistent approach and the interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
A current National Police Record Check is required.
