Job Description
Health Workforce Queensland is a not for profit, non-Government Rural Workforce Agency for primary health workforce in Queensland, focused on making sure remote, rural, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island communities have access to highly skilled health professionals when and where they need them, now and into the future.
We are looking for a unique person who is a communications all-rounder with project exposure, for a short-term contract up to 30 June ****.
The purpose of the role is to provide project coordination and delivery support to facilitate the successful delivery of a multi-partner initiative focused on addressing workforce challenges and improving workforce sustainability across the mental health, alcohol and other drugs, and suicide prevention sectors in northern Queensland.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of the project across all phases of the project lifecycle including planning, coordination, administration, risk management and issue resolution.
Provide project support across key activities including marketing and communications, event planning and coordination, stakeholder engagement and general administration.
Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders through clear communication, timely information sharing and responsive issue management.
Maintain project registers, including risks, issues, actions and decisions.
Monitor project milestones, deliverables and progress against agreed timeframes.
Contribute to the preparation of project reports, briefing materials and status updates.
