About the role
The Compliance Officer will work with the CEO, managers, team leaders and staff to make sure compliance obligations are identified, tracked, monitored and reported.
The role includes supporting:
compliance registers and action trackers
policy review schedules
audit readiness and evidence gathering
quality improvement actions
risk registers and WHS monitoring
incident, complaint and corrective action follow-up
reporting to management, committees and the Board
practical resources, checklists and guidance for staff
About you
This role would suit someone who enjoys keeping things on track, improving systems, supporting staff,
and helping a community organisation meet its obligations in a clear and consistent way.
You will bring:
at least 2 years' experience in compliance, quality, governance, risk, audit support or administration
experience maintaining registers, records or controlled documents
solid attention to detail
good written and verbal communication skills
ability to identify risks, gaps and improvement opportunities
sound Microsoft 365 skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
commitment to confidentiality, human rights, inclusion, cultural safety and child safety
Experience in the not-for-profit, disability, housing, child and family, or community services sector would be highly regarded.

Queensland Blue Card
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, where required
NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate
