What's involved:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic candidate who is interested in completing training and education as an apprentice with a view to becoming a trade-qualifiedFitter Machinist.You will be learning alongside tradesmen and engineers to solve real problems in real time!




Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include:
Workshop based mechanical repairs, gearboxes, pumps, brakes
Dismantling, cleaning, assessing and measuring parts
Machining – Lathe, Mill, Slotter
Cleaning of the workshop
Assisting with maintaining workshop equipment
Sand blasting and spray painting
About you:
To be considered for this position you will ideally have:
A positive attitude to learn in the workplace,
High level of mechanical aptitude,
Ability to follow instructions and procedures, both written and verbal,
Ability to operate equipment and systems,
Youmusthold a current Drivers Licence.
