Jabiru Community College (JCC) in Zillmere, North Brisbane, is no ordinary school.
We're a small senior secondary special assistance school, home to about 100 incredible young people in Years *****.
Many have had tough experiences in mainstream education, and we're here to give them a new beginning — one grounded in connection, respect, and the belief that every student has strengths to shine.
As an Youth Worker, you'll be working alongside an Advisor /Teacher to in a small class of no more than 17:
Build solid, trusting relationships with young people and their families
Support attendance, wellbeing, and social and emotional learning
Spark opportunities through leaving to learn opportunities for our students within the community
