Rolesbased at Sydney International Shooting Centre | NSW Government
Casual rates from $***** per hour, plus casual loading and superannuation.
About the role
As a Customer and Events Assistant, you will help deliver programs and events while providing excellent customer service.
You will support daily venue operations, assist visitors and event organisers, and help ensure activities run safely and efficiently.
Duties include:
Providing customer service and responding to enquiries
Supporting event set-up and pack-down
Assisting with traffic and crowd management
Completing administrative tasks and maintaining records
Maintaining equipment, facilities and supplies
Following safety, compliance and operational procedures

About you
You enjoy working in a rapid-paced, customer-focused environment and take pride in providing excellent service.
You are reliable, adaptable and work well as part of a team.
We are looking for someone who:

Essential Requirements
Obtain and maintain a Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act ****




Requirement to work across any day of the week (Monday to Sunday), to meet operational needs.
Additional requirements for Sydney International Shooting Centre only:
The ability to be placed on ammunitions register within three months of commencing.
Hearing test (audiometric test) within 3 months of starting employment (baseline test) and a follow-up hearing test at least every 2 years.
To be eligible to apply for this position, you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident or hold a valid Australian working Visa for the duration of the appointment.Any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory National Police Check.
You will also need to arrange a Working with Children Check, at your own expense.
