Centennial Homestead is one of Sydney's premier hospitality and events destinations, located in the heart of Centennial Parklands.
We deliver exceptional café, restaurant, wedding and corporate event experiences in one of Sydney's most beautiful settings.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Restaurant & Events Supervisor to join our Front of House leadership team.
This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who has strong restaurant experience, understands premium events and enjoys building genuine relationships with both guests and clients.
About the role
You will be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of our restaurant service and events, leading the Front of House team and ensuring consistently high standards of service across a variety of functions and restaurant services.
You will work closely with our management, kitchen and events teams to deliver seamless weddings, corporate functions, social events and à la carte restaurant service.
Key responsibilities
Supervise restaurant and event operations from setup through to completion.
Lead and support the Front of House team during busy services and events.
Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure consistently high service standards.
Build solid and professional relationships with event clients and guests.
Assist with the coordination and delivery of weddings, corporate functions and premium social events.
Work closely with the Events and Kitchen teams to ensure seamless service.
Respond professionally to guest and client requests and resolve issues when required.
Support staff training, coaching and development.




Maintain excellent venue presentation and operational standards.
Lead by example and contribute positively to the wider team.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
At least 1 year of experience supervising or managing quality social and corporate events, weddings or similar premium functions.
Robust knowledge of premium food and beverage service.
Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.
The ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Excellent communication skills and a professional approach.
The ability to remain calm and perform consistently under pressure.
A strong team mentality and willingness to support colleagues.
Excellent reliability and punctuality.
Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, evenings and public holidays when required.
Current NSW RSA and full Australian working rights.
