We are seeking aproactive, positive, participant-focused, and detail-orientedGroup Leaderto oversee the delivery of social groups and day adventures for people living with disabilities across Moreton Bay.
Working Hours:
Friday night:3–5-hour shift supporting our social groups
Weekend:1 day adventure per fortnight (or more depending on the availability and demand)
What You'll Do:
Weekly Social Nights:Facilitate group games, storytelling, and interactive discussions where participants can share experiences, build friendships, and practice social skills.
Community Outings:Take participants to local events, museums, markets, or recreational activities to build confidence, independence, and real-world social skills.
Day Trips and Excursions:Lead day adventures like visits to parks, beaches, or cultural sites, supporting participants to engage safely and confidently in the community.
Skill-Building Activities:Plan and guide activities that improve communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and daily living skills in a fun and supportive way.
One-on-One Support:Assist participants who may need extra help with social engagement, communication, or personal care during group activities.
Team Collaboration:Work alongside other support staff to ensure smooth program delivery and a safe, inclusive environment.




Record-Keeping and Reporting:Maintain accurate documentation of participant progress, incidents, and activity outcomes in line with NDIS standards.
What You Bring:
Experienceworking with individuals with disabilities, particularly Autism, and an understanding of their unique needs.
Confidence leading small groupsand creating a welcoming, inclusive setting.
Flexibilityto work evenings and weekends, as most activities occur outside standard hours.
Strongorganisation, planning, and time managementskills.
Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standardsand relevant compliance requirements.
Strong administrative and record-keepingskills.
Great communication and interpersonal skillsto engage with diverse stakeholders.
Certificate III in Youth Work, Disability or other equivalent
Active NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current First Aid & CPR.
