The role
Join Stanton Library's Library Experience team and help create welcoming, positive experiences for our community.
We're looking for an experienced, people-focused casual Librarian to supervise the Library and rostered staff during evening and weekend opening hours.
You'll lead by example on the customer service desk, mentor staff, and make sure our customers get the information, services and technology support they need.
This casual role requires availability for rostered shifts of 3 to 4.25 hours across the full range of library opening hours, including evenings and weekends.
The person
You are a confident and customer-focused library professional who thrives in a fast-paced public service environment.
You are a natural problem solver with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of handling complex enquiries and resolving issues with professionalism and empathy.

It is an essential requirement of this role that a Working with Children Check (WWCC) is conducted.

Casual rate from: $***** to $***** per hour + 12% superannuation
