Job Description
Join our team as a Senior MedicalAdministration/SurgicalCo-Ordinator Position for a high profile dermatology practice in Potts Point, Sydney, Australia.
This is a outstanding opportunity to join a busy, rapidly expanding dermatology practice offering a full range of surgical and medical dermatological services including Mohs surgery.
The practice offers a range of therapies utilising the latest dermatological technology, with the focus being on skin cancer.
You will be working in an environment that is dedicated to ensuring that patients receive the highest level of patient care in a professional and comfortable environment.
You will be our ambassador of these values and will continue to develop and nurture this culture within the team.
This role is for a MedicalAdministration/SurgicalCo-Ordinator to join the team, based in St Luke's Clinic, Potts Point.
The role would be full-time.
Close to public transport – 7 minute walk from Kings Cross Station and major bus routes
Suit experienced MedicalSecretary/Administrator
The Role
The main objective of the role is coordinating the day-to-day clinic functions and administration operations of the practice, always delivering exceptional service to patients and families attending the clinic.
You will be someone that is highly organised and always a step ahead of the doctor, having your finger on the pulse and ensuring that all reception and administrative tasks are completed efficiently allowing them to focus on what they love – taking care of the patients.

Your Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a MedicalAdministrator/MedicalSecretary/MedicalReceptionist/SurgicalCo-ordinator is desirable
Able to multitask effectively, handling patient interactions, emails, and calls simultaneously
Competent in using Xestro medical software is desirable but full training is available if required
Advanced computer skills and comfortable with utilising digital technology to streamline practice processes and for efficiency
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using medical software
You are passionate about providing an exceptional level of customer service

Your Duties & Responsibilities
Answering of phone calls and attending to reception duties on clinic days
Efficient management of all patient data, clinical appointments, procedures, clinical files, correspondence and accounts
Scheduling and effective management of patient bookings in Xestro software
Be aware and have your finger on the pulse in relation to billing patient flow, patient care and theatre management
Management and co-ordination of billings (consultation, surgical and health funds)
Provide quotations to patients for procedures
Coordinate surgery admissions, hospital paperwork and theatre lists
Work closely with the doctor to ensure the best possible experience is provided by the clinic to the patients and families
Monitoring and maintenance of office and medical equipment
Coordinate accounts receivable and payable and maintain debt prevention
Nurture and develop strong relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders within the health community
Coordinate with external suppliers and advisers
