About the Business
Our client manages a diverse portfolio of ******* clients across BAS, tax returns, bookkeeping, superannuation, payroll, FBT, trusts and SMSFs.
The business is currently merging with a well-established Sydney firm, bringing hundreds of new clients on board — making this an exceptional time to join and grow with the team.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the practice owner, you will:
Manage your own portfolio of clients and lodgements with autonomy
Prepare and lodge tax returns and BAS statements
Apply basic bookkeeping knowledge across client accounts
Assist with trust and SMSF compliance
Stay on top of deadlines and manage your own workflow
Build strong client relationships through a personable, client-facing approach
About You
Intermediate to Senior tax accountants are encouraged to apply
Strong technical knowledge in tax compliance and bookkeeping
Confident working independently with minimal supervision
Outgoing, self-motivated, and energetic — a outstanding communicator who builds rapport easily
Honest, accountable and reliable, with strong follow-through
Experience with Xero and BGL highly regarded
