About the role
Infraworks is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanical Fitter to support a well-known food manufacturing operation in Erskine Park.
This is a hands-on maintenance role working across modern automated production equipment, completing preventative and corrective maintenance, breakdown response and reliability improvement activities.
You will work a 6-week rotating day and afternoon shift roster averaging ***** hours per week, with opportunities for additional overtime.
Key responsibilities
Responding to breakdowns and troubleshooting mechanical faults
Completing planned, preventative and corrective maintenance
Maintaining conveyors, filling and capping equipment, labellers, crate packers and palletisers
Maintaining pumps, valves, heat exchangers, gearboxes, bearings, chains, pneumatic systems and other mechanical equipment
Supporting maintenance of site utilities and automated equipment
Completing assigned work orders,



SAP updates and shift handover reports
Communicating maintenance issues and priorities with relevant stakeholders
Supporting reliability improvements to increase equipment availability and operational efficiency
Maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship and site compliance
About you
Strong industrial mechanical maintenance experience, ideally within food manufacturing or continuous production
Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
Experience maintaining automated production and packaging equipment
Experience with pumps, valves, bearings, gearboxes, chains, conveyors and pneumatic systems
Ability to undertake equipment rebuilds, component replacement, adjustment and preventative maintenance
Experience using SAP or a similar maintenance management system
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with production and maintenance teams
Full Australian working rights
$55/hr base rate
Approx.
$112,068 + Super including roster loadings and penalties
Average ***** rostered hours per week
6-week rotating day and afternoon shift roster
Opportunity for additional overtime
