Job Description
The OpportunityThe Sanctuary Retirement Living
is a welcoming retirement living community located in Caboolture South.
With amenities nearby such as Morayfield Shopping Centre and Caboolture Sports Club, the community provides low maintenance retirement living for residents to enjoy.
As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide high-quality personal care, social support and daily assistance to residents within their Aveo home.
Our Personal Care Attendants have a strong focus on wellbeing, promoting independence, buildingsocialconnectionandassistingwithday-to-day tasks.
This is a permanent part time prospect working overnight Thursday and Saturday (11:00pm-07:00am)
Your Impact
Work independently within resident units to provide in-home support including personal hygiene, medication, house cleaning, laundry and more!
Interact with residents within their homes or spend time out in the community completing daily activities (e.gdriving them to appointments or light exercise)
Provide care, tailored to the resident's needs in line with their current care plans
Complete simple administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date
Follow all Aveo OH&S; policies and procedures and report any safety,securityand resident incidents
Whatyou'llbring
Experience as a Support Worker or a Home Care Worker, with a passion for communitycare,independenceandwellbeing
Friendly,adaptableandproactive attitude, with a passion for being part of a community environment
Strongcommunicationskills,with a genuine ability to build meaningful connections with residents
Certificate III/IV in Aged Care,
Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required)
Valid driver's licence + vehicle (required)
Current First Aid & CPR certificate and two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
What we offer
Weekday Rate: $*****/hr+ superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances
Saturday Rate: $*****/hr + superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances
