Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and experienced Support Worker to assist participants with their daily living and community-access needs.
Available Shifts
The successful applicant must be available for:
Mondays: 6:30 am–9:30 am – supporting a participant with a spinal cord injury in a 2:1 support environment
Mondays: 2:00 pm–5:00 pm – supporting a second participant
Fortnightly Tuesdays: 11:00 am–2:00 pm
There may also be opportunities for additional shifts.
Mandatory Requirements
NDIS Worker Screening Check
National Police Check
First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
Manual Handling and Infection Control training, or willingness to complete
Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
Right to work in Australia

Key Responsibilities
Provide respectful personal care and daily-living assistance
Assist with manual handling and hoist transfers when required
Support participants with mobility, appointments, and community access
Follow individual support plans and risk assessments
Maintain transparent and professional communication with participants, families, and the support team
Complete shift notes and incident reports as required
Work collaboratively with other support workers and service providers
Skill & Experience
Previous disability support experience is preferred
Experience supporting participants with spinal cord injuries is highly regarded
Manual handling and hoist experience is desirable
Calm, patient, respectful, and skilled approach
Solid communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, punctual, and committed to regular shifts
