Registered Nurse – Specialist Dermatology Practice

About the Role

Skin by Dermatologists is a leading specialist dermatology practice in central Canberra. We are seeking a dedicated, patient-focused Registered Nurse to join our collaborative clinical team.

In this role, you will deliver exceptional, holistic care across medical and surgical dermatology procedures. You will work closely with expert dermatologists in a contemporary, supportive environment with genuine opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Procedures: Assist doctors during surgical and non-surgical treatments; administer phototherapy, photodynamic therapy, and other specialized therapies.
Patient Care & Education: Deliver high-quality pre- and post-operative care, wound management, dressings, suture removal, and clear patient instruction.
Clinic Operations: Manage clinical inventory, track specimens, and oversee instrument sterilization using our on-site autoclave.
Documentation & Support: Maintain precise patient records,



ensure treatment rooms are well-stocked, and provide peak-overflow support to reception when needed.

What We’re Looking For
Current NMBA registration as a Registered Nurse (minimum 1 year post-graduate experience).
Previous experience in dermatology is highly desirable.
Robust clinical and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-centred approach.
High attention to detail, strong team spirit, and flexibility to cover leave when required.
