Operations Supervisor - 6 Month Contract
A Sydney-based banking client is seeking an Operations Supervisor for a 6-month contract.
About the Role
Reporting to the Executive Manager Operations, you'll oversee the day-to-day supervision of settlement transaction processing across Retail/Cards, Treasury and Payments.
This includes team supervision, workload management, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support a team processing settlement transactions across multiple product types
Ensure accurate, timely processing in line with internal SLAs and industry deadlines
Maintain and improve Standard Operating Procedures
Support the bank's operational risk management framework, including issue identification, escalation and root cause analysis
Provide coaching and day-to-day guidance to direct reports

About You
Minimum 5 years' banking experience, includingsettlements/operations
Exposure to Treasury and/or SWIFT processing preferred
Robust attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
