About the Role
Reporting to the Project Leadership Team, the Senior Design Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating multidisciplinary design activities across the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:




Leading the design management function from planning through delivery
Managing consultants and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams
Driving design quality, compliance, and project outcomes
Facilitating stakeholder engagement and design workshops
Managing design risks and resolving technical challenges
Supporting program, cost, and constructability objectives
Ensuring compliance with client, statutory, and project requirements
Working closely with project delivery teams to achieve successful project outcomes
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
10+ years' experience in Design Management roles
Proven experience delivering major hospital or healthcare projects
Strong background managing complex multidisciplinary design packages
Experience working within Tier 1 construction, major projects, or large-scale infrastructure environments
Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
Strong understanding of design delivery, project risk, and construction methodologies
Degree qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline
Essential Requirement
Demonstrated hospital project experience
