The Meat Republic is a modern Balkan restaurant located in the heart of Melbourne CBD, specialising in charcoal-grilled meats and authentic Balkan cuisine.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our friendly kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a quick-paced setting and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised and effective kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
Keep workstations clean, organised and ready for service.
Receive and store deliveries as directed.
Remove rubbish and recycling and maintain a clean work environment.
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
Perform general kitchen cleaning and end-of-shift duties.

About You




Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
Robust teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
