Catering Assistant

$27.09 base rate + 12% super + penalty rates + permanent part time
Catering Assistant, Marayong (nearby to Bella Vista and Blacktown)
Morning shift: 6:15am-2:15am
Afternoon shift: 2:30-8pm or 3-8pm

THE ROLE
Assist in food preparation and sandwich-making
Serving breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and evening meals
Following all Food and Safety procedures
Demonstrate adaptability by taking on various tasks and responsibilities as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and dining areas and with equipment




Maintain stores and monitor stock where needed

THE PERSON
Experience in the healthcare or aged care sector highly favoured, although not essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to monitor and improve service quality, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Previous experience with electronic data entry into iPads or computers is highly regarded
CHC: Hold a current Criminal History Check (past three years) or be willing to obtain a recent one
