Are you confident on the phone, enjoy talking to people and looking for a flexible daytime job?

We are looking for friendly, confident and motivated people to join our vehicle acquisition team.

This role would suit university students, parents looking for school-hours work, or anyone looking for adaptable part-time hours.

What you'll be doing

You'll be contacting private sellers who have their vehicles advertised on Carsales.

Your job is to have a genuine conversation with the seller, understand:
What vehicle they are selling
Why they are selling it
How quickly they want to sell
Their expectations on price
The condition and history of the vehicle
Whether they would genuinely consider an offer from a dealer

You'll then identify genuine opportunities and arrange appointments for our experienced vehicle acquisition team.

This is not a scripted call-centre job

We are looking for someone who can have a conversation rather than simply read a script.

You need to be able to build rapport, ask good questions, listen carefully and understand what motivates the seller.

You will also need to be comfortable hearing "no" and moving on to the next opportunity.





What we're looking for

You don't need automotive experience.

Motivated and results-oriented
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable using a computer and CRM
Able to stay focused during a four-hour shift

Experience in sales, telephone sales, appointment setting, real estate, recruitment, customer service or call centreswould be highly regarded.
