Job Description
We are working on an excellent 12 month contract role for a property lawyer, with experience in leasing.
Our client is a global investment company that owns, develops and operates media infrastructure.
Their Australian operations are experiencing growth and the legal team is expanding.
They are looking for a legal counsel experienced in real estate and leasing to assist a busy team.
Role description
This is a parental leave cover for 12 months, with potential to become permanent.
You will be independently managing transactions from end to end, drafting and negotiating a broad range of agreements, including heads of terms, NDAs, framework agreements, licences and other real estate documents.
Managing approvals and processes for transactions
Advising on key legal issues and risk management




Exciting and fast paced environment in a collaborative and highly professional team.
About you
At least 4 - 8 years PAE
Experience in property, leasing and retail leasing
Knowledge of corporate law and disputeresolution/litigationhighly desirable
Ability to run matters autonomously with minimal supervision
Robust commercial acumen
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work confidently with internal and external stakeholders
