The Client
Our client is a large global organisation with an established presence across Australia and New Zealand.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Finance in the Corporate Accounting team, our client is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join on an initial six‐month contract and provide senior, hands‐on support across the finance function.
This is an opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running, work confidently in a complex environment and take ownership from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial reporting under AASB/IFRS
Group and management reporting
Budgeting and forecasting support
Financial controls and process improvement
JVs, partnerships and project accounting
Month‐end close, journals, reconciliations and variance analysis
General ledger and intercompany accounting
Oversight and support of junior finance staff
Partnering with Finance, Operations and senior stakeholders
About You




We're looking for a CA/CPA qualified Finance Manager with 7+ years financial accounting experience gained within a large complex multinational setting.
Ideally, you'll have:
Strong month‐end and financial reporting experience
Solid technical accounting and financial controls knowledge
Recent SAP experience - essential
Previous experience managing and supporting a team
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A practical, proactive approach and the ability to work autonomously
You'll be someone who enjoys rolling up your sleeves, solving problems and getting things done.

Hourly rate circa $80 - $90 + Superannuation
