Location and Employment
Office‑based remote support – multiple sites to choose from. Permanent full‑time position covering the North Queensland Network.
Classification: QRN2.1 – QRN2.3 based on demonstrated clinical hours and experience.
Remuneration: $59.43 – $60.70 per hour + super + NFP salary packaging advantages + extensive staff discounts.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care and leadership to other care staff, promoting quality of life and independence for residents.
Assist with remote & onsite coverage across the North Queensland Network.
Provide guidance and mentorship to frontline staff.
Review client care and care plans, ensuring promotion of independence and quality of life.
Develop, implement, monitor and review care plans.
Perform comprehensive and accurate assessments of residents.
Assist with orientation of new staff and ongoing professional development.
Support the service in meeting all accreditation standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
Current AHPRA registration.
Extensive general nursing experience with demonstrated clinical competence.
Ability to liaise with the care team and provide coordinated care.
Confidence managing conflict,
pressures and competing priorities.
Experience working in a multidisciplinary team, with leadership, support and mentorship of other team members.
Knowledge of community funding desirable.
Telehealth nursing experience desirable.
