Locum O&G; Consultant / Staff Specialist / VMO - Lismore Base Hospital
Lismore Base Hospital is seeking aLocum Obstetrics and Gynaecology Consultant, Staff Specialist or VMOto support O&G; services.
This role is suited to an experienced O&G; specialist who is confident supporting obstetric and gynaecology presentations, clinical reviews, management planning, documentation and escalation of care where required.
Clinical Environment
Obstetrics and Gynaecology consultant-level cover
Hospital-based locum position at Lismore Base Hospital
Regional hospital setting within Northern NSW LHD
Supportive clinical workplace with escalation pathways available
Suitable for doctors with recent O&G; consultant-level experience
Key Duties
Review and manage obstetric and gynaecology patients
Support clinical decision-making and management plans
Complete documentation and handover as required
Work collaboratively with medical, midwifery, nursing and allied health teams
Escalate care appropriately when required
Eligibility Criteria
Current AHPRA Specialist Registration




Recent Obstetrics and Gynaecology consultant-level experience
Strong communication, leadership and clinical judgement
Ability to work safely within scope and escape appropriately
Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
