Jumbo Operator – Scotia Mine – Redpath Mining
Full-Time, Permanent – Roster 2/2 – FIFO & DIDO Options Available.
Redpath is a premier full-service, global underground mining contractor working on projects throughout Australia and across the globe.
Responsibilities
Operate twin-boom jumbo drill rigs safely and efficiently
Complete development drilling in accordance with mine plans and drill designs
Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
Maintain accurate drilling profiles and development standards
Identify and report equipment faults and operational issues
Work closely with Charge Up, Service Crew, and supervisory teams
Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and statutory requirements
Complete production and safety documentation
Maintain housekeeping standards in underground work areas
Qualifications
Proven experience operating underground development jumbos
Ability to read and interpret mine plans and mark-ups
Strong understanding of underground development processes
Commitment to safe work practices and compliance




Ability to work effectively within a team setting
Valid manual driver's licence
Experience on Sandvik jumbo equipment highly regarded
Ability to work FIFO roster
