Job Description
Masselos & Co Lawyers are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Lawyer with personal injury litigation experience to join our dynamic 10-lawyer team in our Sydney CBD office.
As a Personal Injury Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal representation and support to clients in workplace injury , motor accident, and civil liability claims.
This is a full-time role with opportunities for career development and growth within our growing firm.
Part-time candidates will also be considered.
What you'll be doing
You'll have day-to-day carriage of personal injury files - workers compensation, work injury damages, motor accident, public liability claims and medical negligence claims
Conducting in-depth client interviews to understand the details of each case
Researching and analysing relevant laws, regulations and past cases to build a solid legal strategy
Preparing and filing all necessary legal documents, including claims, pleadings and motions
Instructing counsel and negotiating with insurance companies to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients
Representing clients in court proceedings, including mediation, arbitration and trials
Providing regular updates and support to clients throughout the legal process
Maintaining detailed records and documentation for each case
What we're looking for
A Bachelor's degree in Law and a current practicing certificate




At least 2 years of experience working as a personal injury lawyer, with a strong track record of successful outcomes
Experience in workers compensation/work injury damages matters
Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication abilities, with the ability to effectively communicate with and advocate for clients
A compassionate and empathetic approach when working with clients who have experienced injury or trauma
Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple cases simultaneously
