About Your New Role:
We are seeking an Experienced Ramp Agent to join our ground handling team at Brisbane Airport on a Permanent Part Time (Min 26 hours per week).
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely turnaround of commercial aircraft.
You will operate heavy ground support equipment, manage baggage and cargo logistics, and uphold the highest standards of aviation safety.
Equipment Operation Requirements:
Minimum Requirement: Proven proficiency and experience operating at an Airport in Ground Handling.
Highly Desirable: Direct experience operating Tugs, heavy GSE, including pushback tractors, main deck container loaders (mainline/widebody loaders), and mobile belt loaders.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate commitment to keeping safety at the absolute forefront of all ramp operations, ensuring zero harm to yourself, the team, and the aircraft.
Collaborate closely with flight crews and gate agents to ensure strict adherence to turnaround schedules.
Load and unload aircraft baggage,



mail and freight according to strict weight and balance specifications.
Qualifications & Experience:
Must have certified experience operating airport tugs as a minimum, with robust preference given to candidates proficient in pushback tractors, container loaders and belt loaders.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Ramp Agent or Ground Handler at a commercial airport
Valid Australian Open Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
Ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and an Airport Driving Licence (ADA).
Strong physical fitness, with the ability to lift up to 32kg repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills under fast‐paced, high‐pressure conditions.
Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating roster, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Must hold a current Australian Driver's Licence
Possess Australian citizenship or permanent residency
Motivation and flexibility to work on a 7‐day rotational shift roster as per flight schedules
Must be available to work all shifts as part of a 7‐day operational roster
Applicants will be required to undergo a Police check, Airport security check and pre‐employment medical as part of the standard conditions of employment
