We are currently seeking an electrically minded Service Technician to join our team.

Service Technician – Electrical / Welding Equipment

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, testing and repairing a range of professional welding equipment and associated systems.
Full training will be provided
Full training will be provided on our products, systems and diagnostic procedures, along with the tools and resources required to perform the role effectively.
About You
Has an electrical, electrical fitting or technical background.
Has a genuine interest in electrical and industrial equipment.
Possesses strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Is motivated to learn and develop their technical knowledge.




Can work independently as well as part of a team.
Has a positive attitude and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.
Is reliable, professional and customer focused.
Previous experience with welding equipment is advantageous but not essential, as comprehensive product training will be provided.

Key Roles
Technical Repairs & Diagnostics: Diagnose, service and repair premium imported welding equipment across both workshop and customer site.
Manage repairs independently, prioritising jobs effectively and maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Customer Technical Support: Serve as a key technical resource for customers, providing professional troubleshooting, product advice and technical assistance both remotely and face-to-face.
Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment remains reliable, safe and operational.
Identify potential issues early and recommend appropriate corrective action.
Parts & Workshop Coordination:



Liaise closely with the warehouse and parts teams to identify and source required components, helping to minimise repair times and maintain efficient workshop operations.
Testing, Safety & Compliance: Thoroughly test equipment following repairs and servicing to ensure it is operating correctly and safely.
Maintain a clean and organised workshop while ensuring all work meets relevant safety and compliance requirements.
Field Service & Technical Support: Occasionally attend customer sites as required to diagnose equipment issues, perform repairs, conduct testing and provide specialist technical support.
Travel may be required depending on customer and project requirements.
Candidate preferred
Technical Expertise: Trade-qualified electrician or electrical fitter with experience working with welding equipment, electrical systems or industrial machinery.
Fronius Experience: Previous experience working with Fronius welding systems or equipment, either locally or internationally, will be highly regarded.
Problem-Solving Ability: A strong diagnostic and troubleshooting mindset, with the ability to work independently and methodically identify and resolve technical issues.
Customer Focus: Professional and approachable, with strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers while representing the company professionally.
Essential Requirements: A valid Australian driver's licence is required.

Salary: To be negotiated based on experience.
