About Your New Role

As part of our Gold Coast Supports Team, you will be assisting customers with complex needs moving from hospital and clinical care, into accommodation services. Our Disability Support Workers are the forefront of delivering exceptional care and implementing innovative strategies to help customers overcome daily challenges and reach their full potential.

About You
Excels in complex support environments, including Clinical Settings, In-Home Supports, Supported Independent Living, and Community Access
Experience with health support, PEG feeding, meal and medication assistance manual handling and providing personal care including bathing, toileting and dressing
Has extensive experience working with complex support needs, implementing Positive Behavioural Support Plans,



explicit understanding of restrictive practices and handling mental and physical health challenges
Demonstrates the ability to prioritise workloads and respond to emergent situations with ease
Is flexible and can work across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and overnights

Requirements
A current Driver's Licence (P2 Minimum)
Paid Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
2 years’ experience in the Disability Sector providing services to individuals with high-complex needs
