We have a great opportunity for a Handy Person to join our team at Little National Hotel Sydney.

This is a full-time position, working Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on person with basic handyman and general maintenance skills who takes pride in keeping the hotel well maintained and presented.

About the role

As part of our team, you will help ensure the hotel is maintained to a high standard and provide day-to-day maintenance support across the property. Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out preventative and scheduled maintenance
Completing general and ad-hoc maintenance and handyman tasks
Assisting with basic repairs and upkeep throughout the hotel
Responding to and prioritising maintenance requests as required
Identifying maintenance issues and escalating more complex repairs where necessary
Supporting the wider hotel team to maintain a secure, well-presented and welcoming environment for our guests

What we are looking for
Basic handyman and general maintenance skills
Previous experience in a maintenance, handyman or similar hands-on role is desirable




A practical approach and willingness to assist with a variety of maintenance tasks
Familiarity with workplace safety procedures and WHS requirements
Positive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
A customer-focused attitude and ability to work collaboratively with the wider hotel team
Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
Reliable, professional and well presented
Availability to workTuesday to Saturday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
