The Opportunity
We are seeking an ambitious, early-career Scrum Master to join our consulting team on an initial 12-months contract, with a view to extend in Sydney.
Working directly on-site with a leading financial services organisation, you will join the SQL Infrastructure & Systems team to facilitate Agile ceremonies, optimise team delivery, and drive key infrastructure initiatives.
This opportunity is ideally suited for mid-level Scrum Masters looking to step up and gain tier-1 local enterprise banking exposure.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospectives.
Guide and coach technical delivery teams, removing blockers to ensure smooth sprint execution.




Collaborate closely with technical leads, database administrators, and infrastructure engineers focused on SQL platforms.
Track delivery metrics, manage dependencies, and report progress to project leadership.
Foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture aligned with modern Agile delivery practices.
Key Criteria & Requirements
Domain Experience: 2-5 years' of experience as a Scrum Master
Agile Fundamentals: Demonstrated foundational experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and supporting IT delivery teams in an Agile environment.
Technical Aptitude: Background in IT infrastructure, database systems (SQL), or technical support is highly desirable.
Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal adaptability.
