About the Role
Sharp Corporation of Australia is seeking an experienced and customer-focusedService Technicianto join our dynamic technical team.
Our workshop is based in Prestons NSW and this role requires coverage across the North / West area.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing corrective services, machine run‐ups, installations, and technical support across our full range of Sharp equipment.
This is a hands‐on position that requires robust technical ability, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
You'll also play a key role in supporting other technical staff and contributing to the ongoing success of our service team.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair faults on Sharp devices to ensure reliable performance and high customer satisfaction
Prepare and run‐up machines for delivery,
ensuring all pre‐delivery checks are completed to Sharp standards
Install equipment onsite and provide end‐user support where required
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of showroom devices to maintain peak performance
Manage spare parts and consumable inventory to reduce downtime and support accurate stock replenishment
Meet or exceed performance KPIs including service levels, jobs per day, and customer response times
Provide troubleshooting assistance and technical support to fellow technicians
Participate in ongoing product and technical training sessions
Perform other duties aligned with the Sharp Direct Technician structure
About You
Sound technical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Strong organisational and time‐management skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A current driver's licence is essential
Relevant industry certifications or qualifications are highly regarded
