Are you an experienced General Insurance professional looking to take the next step in your broking career?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected brokerage in Sydney and manage a diverse portfolio while delivering exceptional service to your clients.
Please note: this position is an onsite role based in Sydney.
The Chance
As an Account Executive, you'll take ownership of a mixed commercial portfolio, working closely with clients to understand their risks and provide tailored insurance solutions.
You'll be supported by a collaborative team and have the autonomy to build strong, long‐term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Manage renewals, policy reviews and client retention




Prepare Certificates of Currency and policy documentation
Handle client enquiries and provide timely, professional support
Negotiate terms with insurers and place cover
Identify opportunities to strengthen and grow client portfolios
Maintain accurate records and compliance requirements
What You'll Bring
Solid experience in general insurance broking (commercial lines preferred)
Strong client relationship and communication skills
Tier 1 qualified
Confidence negotiating with insurers
A proactive, solutions‐focused approach and genuine client‐first mindset
