Job Description
Troocoo is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Officer to join a Queensland Government agency on a contract basis through to 30 July ****, with potential for extension.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to projects that strengthen preparedness, stakeholder capability, education, engagement and organisational readiness across a critical government portfolio.
Working as part of a strategy and engagement-focused team, you will support the planning, delivery and evaluation of multiple projects, working closely with internal teams, subject matter experts and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning, delivering and evaluating projects to achieve agreed outcomes, timelines and objectives
Working with stakeholders to define project requirements, priorities and success measures
Managing project schedules, resources, deliverables, risks and issues
Coordinating stakeholder communications, reporting, presentations, events and engagement activities
Undertaking research and analysis to support project planning and continuous improvement
Maintaining project documentation, registers, records and governance requirements

About you
We are looking for a capable project professional who brings:
Strong project management experience
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experience delivering education, engagement or behaviour change initiatives
Event coordination and organisational capability
Strong analytical, problem-solving and planning skills
The ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholder groups and manage competing priorities
