Job Description
Secom Australia is currently seeking a motivated and professional individual to join our team as a permanent full time Level 3 Security Officer (plus applicable penalties) for a gatehouse security role in Eagle Farm, Brisbane(QLD).
This position has a set roster of 12-hour shifts on a four on four off, day and night rotation.

Key Responsibilities
Controlling site access and preventing unauthorised entry.
Conducting vehicle and bag inspections.
Completing accurate,



real-time data entry into live national Excel spreadsheets (driver and vehicle information).
Communicating frequently with client operations via two-way radio and phone systems.
Conducting site inductions for drivers and visitors as required.
Monitoring CCTV, access control, and electronic surveillance systems.
Operating access control systems (issuing cards, locking/unlocking doors, auditing access).
Recording incidents, breaches, and safety concerns.
You Will Be Able to Demonstrate

Presentation – Uphold a clean, neat, and well-groomed corporate appearance at all times.
Performance – Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, effectively identify and respond to security incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
Eligibility, Qualifications, Licences & Certifications
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with unrestricted Rights to Work in Australia (Essential).
Current QLD Security Licence with a Class 1A as a minimum (Essential).
Full Drivers Licence (Essential).
Elevated customer service skills.
Previous security experience in gatehouses or warehousing / logistics operations.
Two references required.
