Job Description
ATS Rehab is seeking a Physiotherapist to join our team on a full-time basis.
This is a varied orthopaedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation role for a clinician who wants to support patients through their whole rehabilitation journey—from pre-operative preparation and acute post-surgical care through to progressive strength work, gym-based rehabilitation and return to work, activity or sport.
You will have a regular clinical schedule across our Beenleigh, Greenslopes and Ormiston locations, with Beenleigh forming a substantial part of the role.
You will also attend local gyms for exercise-based rehabilitation appointments.
This is a clinic-based role, not a mobile or home-visit role.
However, regular work-related driving is an expected part of the position, particularly for gym appointments and scheduled work across clinic locations.
A current unrestricted driver's licence and reliable access to a vehicle are essential.
Your clinical work will include
Pre-operative preparation and orthopaedic prehabilitation
Acute and early post-operative care, including wound management and monitoring, early mobilisation, and pain and swelling management
Upper- and lower-limb orthopaedic rehabilitation
Musculoskeletal injury and persistent-pain rehabilitation
Gym-based strengthening, conditioning and functional rehabilitation
End-stage return-to-work, activity and sport rehabilitation
Communication with surgeons, GPs,
insurers, employers and other treating practitioners
About you
You are a physiotherapist who enjoys practical, exercise-based rehabilitation and wants to be involved in the full patient journey—not simply one phase of recovery.
We are ideally looking for someone with one or more years of private-practice, orthopaedic or MSK experience.
However, solid early-career applicants with relevant placements or gym-based rehabilitation experience are encouraged to apply.
You will have:
Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
A current unrestricted driver's licence and reliable access to a vehicle
Comfort with regular work-related driving to clinic and local gym locations
Strong communication, organisation and rapport-building skills
Australian citizenship, permanent residency or unrestricted Australian working rights
What we offer
$95,000–$100,000 salary package, commensurate with experience
$0.99/km reimbursement for eligible work-related travel
Phone allowance
Strictly 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday—no weekends, evenings or on-call
Structured mentorship, supervision and CPD support
A varied caseload across prehab, acute post-operative management, MSK rehabilitation and end-stage return-to-work/sport care
A supportive team and established relationships with surgeons, GPs, insurers and local gym partners
