We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Payroll Officer to manage our financial administration, payroll, and ATO compliance. This role suits someone who is organised, accurate, and confident working independently. Hours are adaptable: 3 full days per week or 4 mornings per week, ideal for school hour availability.
Key responsibilities
Weekly payroll processing (casual, part time & full time staff)
Entering and reconciling accounts in MYOB
Preparing and lodging BAS, IAS, and other ATO obligations
Bank reconciliations and accounts payable/receivable
Managing supplier accounts, invoices and deliveries
Maintaining accurate financial records
Assisting with end of month reporting
Liaising with management regarding financial updates
About you
Minimum 3 years bookkeeping experience (hospitality preferred)
Robust MYOB knowledge
Confident with ATO compliance, BAS/IAS, STP, superannuation
High accuracy and attention to detail
Able to work independently and manage deadlines
