We’re recruiting for an Indigenous Project Officer to join our client, a respected organisation that supports councils all across NSW. Based in Sydney CBD, this role offers the flexibility to work part time (4 days/week) or full-time (5 days/week), depending on your preference. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with administration, project support or similar experience to take ownership of a program of works that will support the engagement of First Nations businesses by various government organisations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Administer and promote First Nations procurement program across NSW
Support expressions of interest and onboarding of suppliers into the program
Track outcomes and prepare reports on program performance and impact
Help monitor delivery of actions within a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure commitments and deadlines are met
Skills and Requirements
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage (this is an Identified Role)
Previous experience in administration, project support, or an office workplace
Good written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging stakeholders
