Charlestown Dental Centre is seeking a Casual Dental Assistant to join our friendly and professional team 2-3 days per week.
As a Casual Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and ensuring our patients receive the best possible care.
Key responsibilities
Providing chairside assistance to the dentist during treatments.
Following infection control protocols for instrumentsterilisation/reprocessing
Setting up, cleaning, and maintaining dental treatment areas and equipment.
Scheduling patient appointments and managing booking and recall systems.
Greeting patients and delivering a friendly and qualified experience throughout their visit.
Responding to patient enquiries and supporting the coordination of patient care.
Updating and maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.




Processing payments and assisting with health fund claims and administrative tasks.
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience as a dental assistant is preferred
Strong clear communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask
Proficiency in using dental equipment and software - EXACT
A warm and approachable manner with a genuine commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
