MECHANIC | 4-DAY WEEK + 3-DAY WEEKEND | CAIRNS
52 three-day weekends a year.
No Fridays.
No weekends.

At Mueller Automotive, we're doing things differently.
We're looking for a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join our busy workshop in Woree.
We know skilled mechanics are in demand.
We also know that money isn't everything — your time matters too.
That's why our team works:
MONDAY – THURSDAY | 7:00AM – 5:00PM
Friday?
OFF.
Saturday?
OFF.
Sunday?
OFF.
That's 52 three-day weekends every year to enjoy your family, fishing, camping, 4WDing, travelling or simply enjoying the Cairns and FNQ lifestyle.

You will ideally be:
Qualified as a Light Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician
Confident with servicing, repairs and diagnostics
Reliable and organised
Able to work independently
A valuable team player
Someone who takes genuine pride in their workmanship
Looking for stability and a long-term opportunity
3RD OR 4TH YEAR APPRENTICE?
We want to hear from you too.
If you're already well into your apprenticeship, have good hands-on experience and want the right workshop to finish your trade, we're happy to consider a strong 3rd or 4th year apprentice.
ALREADY WORKING SOMEWHERE ELSE?
