Workfast is currently seeking experienced Trade Assistants to join the team at Duratec for a major project in Mt Isa.
This is an excellent prospect for experienced Trade Assistants to secure project/DIDO work, supporting trades across a range of site-based duties.
Candidates will need strong hands‐on experience, a good understanding of site safety and the ability to work long shifts in a remote environment.
We are looking for candidates with:
Previous experience as a Trade Assistant in civil construction, mining or industrial environments
Strong hands‐on site experience supporting trades
Experience with general labouring, site preparation and material handling
Good safety awareness and a strong work ethic




Ability to work 12-hour shifts and commit to a 13-day fortnight
Willingness to travel and work away from home
Ability to commit to approximately 70 days working away
Location: Mt Isa, QLD
Start: Immediate
Rate: $***** per hour
