Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Rendering Supervisor to join our client's team in Cooma.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Rendering Operator, Leading Hand or Supervisor to step into a senior role and lead a team of approximately 4 employees.
About the Role
Oversee daily rendering and by-product operations
Lead, train and supervise the team
Monitor production, yields, waste and product recovery
Ensure safety, hygiene, quality and environmental requirements are met
Oversee rendering, tallow, blood, paunch and hide processing
Work with Maintenance and other departments to keep operations running smoothly
Maintain records and assist with audits and environmental compliance
Identify opportunities to improve safety and efficiency
About You
Rendering experience in a red meat processing environment
Previous experience as a Leading Hand, Supervisor or Manager
Good knowledge of rendering and by-product processes
Strong communication and organisational skills
Hands-on approach with a solid focus on safety
Basic maintenance knowledge is highly desirable
Boiler licence is highly desirable

Monday-Friday roster
Hours expected around 8am-4pm, with some flexibility
$85,000 + for the right candidate
Up to $5,000 relocation assistance available for eligible candidates
