Job Description
Carpentaria Shire Council is seeking a Workshop Leading Hand to join the Engineering Services team at the Normanton Depot.
You will lead daily workshop activities, provide hands-on support to Diesel Fitters and Apprentices, and mentor staff.
The role requires a Mechanical Trade Certificate with experience in heavy vehicles, hydraulics, and fault-finding.
A Heavy Rigid Licence is expected, with MC desirable.
Salary is competitive with allowances under the Certified Agreement.
