Versent is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a GRC project within the Australian Government environment.
Working closely with the Epicon Project Manager, CMDB/APM Subject Matter Experts, Enterprise and Security Architects, and the Organisational Change Manager, you will play a key role in translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements and delivery artefacts.
You will be responsible for ensuring requirements are clearly captured, prioritised, validated and traceable throughout the project lifecycle.
You will also help coordinate stakeholder engagement, workshops, design, sprint planning, testing and final documentation to maintain momentum towards the February **** MVP milestone.
What You'll Do
Lead requirements gathering and workshops with stakeholders, SMEs, architects and project delivery teams.
Capture, analyse and prioritise requirements, ensuring they are clearly documented, validated and traceable.
Translate business needs into actionable delivery artefacts, including sprint plans, design documentation and project plans.
Collaborate with CMDB/APM, architecture, security, testing and configuration teams to support design, implementation and validation.
Track risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies, escalating any items that may impact delivery timelines or the February **** MVP.
Support project delivery and final documentation, including testing, the Test Evaluation Report and As Built Document.
What You'll Bring
Proven Business Analysis experience across technology, ServiceNow, CMDB, APM or enterprise systems projects.
Strong requirements elicitation and workshop facilitation skills, with proven stakeholder engagement experience.
Ability to translate complex business needs into clear,



structured and actionable requirements.
Experience working with technical and architecture teams, including Solution, Enterprise and Security Architects, developers and Project Managers.
Robust understanding of technology delivery lifecycles, including planning, design, sprint delivery, configuration, testing and handover.
Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to manage requirements, risks, dependencies and changing priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment.
Experience working with Australian Government departments or within secure enterprise environments.
Experience with ServiceNow, particularly CMDB and/or APM.
Familiarity with MVP-based delivery and sprint-based planning.
Experience supporting testing, configuration validation and as-built documentation.
Understanding of organisational change impacts within technology delivery projects.
