This is a hands-on role working closely with Production and QA teams to ensure food safety controls are consistently followed, verified and documented across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct dailyQA, GMP and food safety checksacross production.
Monitor and verifyCCPs, temperature controls, hygiene and high-care practices.
Maintain accurateHACCP, QMS and food safety records.
Identify and investigatenon-conformances, food safety incidents and quality issues.
Supportroot-cause investigations and corrective actions.
Assist withinternal, customer and external audits.
Conduct product,



environmental and microbiological sampling where required.
Monitorallergen controls, traceability, labelling and product release requirements.
Ensure production teams comply withGMP, hygiene and food safety procedures.
Support staff training inHACCP, GMP and food safety requirements.
Escalate food safety risks and ensure affected product is appropriately controlled.
About You
Essential
Qualification inFood Science, Food Technology, Quality Assurance or a related field.
Experience inQA or food safety within food manufacturing.
Solid knowledge ofHACCP, GMP and food safety systems.
Experience completing QA checks and maintaining compliance documentation.
Strong attention to detail and confidence working on the production floor.
Good communication, investigation and problem-solving skills.
Highly Desirable
Experience incooked, chilled, prepared or ready-to-eat food manufacturing.
Experience in ahigh-care environment.
HACCP or Internal Auditor certification.
Experience withSQF, BRCGS or another GFSI-recognised standard.
