Project Manager – Rope Access & Building Maintenance

Full-Time Position | Central Coast NSW
PR Industries is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our growing team.
We specialise in industrial rope access, height safety, façade maintenance, remedial works, external building cleaning, drone service and specialist access solutions across the commercial and residential sectors.
This is a hands-on management role for someone who understands the rope access and building maintenance industry and is confident managing projects from the initial site inspection and quotation through to scheduling, delivery and completion.
You will work closely with our Director, clients, technicians and subcontractors and will play an important role in the continued growth of PR Industries.
The Role
As Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Manage projects from initial enquiry, site inspection and quotation through to completion and handover.
Prepare estimates, quotations, scopes of work and project documentation.
Plan and coordinate project schedules, labour requirements, equipment and subcontractors.
Manage and coordinate rope access technicians across multiple projects.
Monitor project costs, labour hours, budgets and overall project performance.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to a high standard.
Maintain regular communication with clients, building managers, strata managers, builders and other stakeholders.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional and repeat work.
Conduct site inspections and assist with determining appropriate access methodologies and work procedures.
Provide technical advice relating to rope access, façade maintenance,



remedial works and height safety where appropriate.
Monitor project progress and provide completion reports and other required client documentation.
Assist with invoicing, variations, purchase orders and project cost tracking.
Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, quality and company requirements.
Provide leadership, direction and ongoing support to rope access technicians.
Assist with day-to-day operational requirements and resource planning.
Represent PR Industries professionally with all clients, employees, contractors and other stakeholders.
About You
We are looking for someone with strong industry knowledge who is equally comfortable on site, managing a team and dealing directly with clients.
The ideal candidate will have:
IRATA Rope Access qualification –not essential working at heights essential
Previous experience within the rope access industry.
Project Management, Construction Management or similar qualifications are highly regarded.
Strong understanding of Australian Standards, WHS requirements and industry codes relevant to rope access and working at heights.
Experience managing commercial building, façade maintenance, remedial or construction projects.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing rope access technicians and subcontractors.
Demonstrated experience estimating works, preparing quotations and developing scopes of work.
Strong understanding of project budgets,



labour costs and financial controls.
Excellent organisational and scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Solid computer and administrative skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional approach when dealing with clients and stakeholders.
Ability to identify problems, make decisions and keep projects moving.
Strong focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
Existing industry relationships and the ability to assist with developing new business opportunities would be highly regarded.
What We're Looking For
This position would suit an experienced rope access professional who is ready to move further into project and operational management, or an existing Project Manager with strong rope access experience.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their projects rather than simply coordinating them.
You will be expected to understand what is happening across your projects, communicate with the crews and clients, monitor costs and schedules, solve problems and ensure the job is completed properly.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Director and have genuine input into how projects are delivered and how the business continues to grow.
