Job Description
We are an established family-owned independent optometry practice based within Westfield North Lakes.
We pride ourselves on excellence in customer service while offering an extensive range of designer eyewear and quality lenses.
The ideal candidate will:
Have optical dispensing experience or be studying Optometry
Be highly motivated, positive and friendly
Have clear communication skills and excellent listening skills
Have the ability to use own initiative and deal with problem solving
Have the ability to work as a team player
Have outstanding personal presentation
The role will involve:
Booking appointments and processing payments
Assisting patients choose suitable frames and lenses
Ordering prescription lenses and contact lenses
Optical lab work including cutting and fitting prescription lenses, tinting lenses and repairs.
Training available in all these areas.
This is a casual or permanent part time position that may become full time.
Candidate must be willing to work most Saturdays.
Candidates must be permanent residents of Australia to be eligible for this position.
