Our Dairy Manufacturing and Distribution facility located in the heart of Central Wagga has an opportunity for a collaborative and highly motivated self-starter to join our team in a full-time Pasteuriser Operator role.
Reporting to the Production Manager, this role collaborates with our Production team to perform a vital food quality and safety role in the manufacture of dairy products for our valued customers.
We have opportunities available on both Afternoon shift (Monday to Friday, 4pm to midnight) and Night shift (Sunday to Thursday, midnight to 8am).
These are secure, permanent positions working with an experienced and friendly team in a busy and dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Operation and monitoring of pasteurisation, homogenisation and separation processing equipment;
Unloading of milk tankers, including monitoring intake volumes and raw milk temperatures;
CIP cleaning of processing equipment;




Batching and mixing/blending ingredients to recipe specifications;
Documentation and record keeping;
HACCP, GMP, Quality, safety & hygiene control;
Manual handling/stacking of ingredients and finished product;
Monitoring and reducing waste.
Key Requirements
Previous experience operating pasteurisation, homogenisation and separation processing equipment.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions closely.
Be highly focussed on safety, quality & hygiene compliance.
Be highly focussed on production targets and efficiency.
Trouble shooting skills and ability to use initiative.
Experience working in an FMCG environment is preferred but not essential.
Flexibility to work shift work.
Availability to work public holidays as required.
Ability to work occasional overtime if required.
Ability to work unsupervised when required.
Ability to work as part of a team.

Experience in a similar role will be highly valued, however is not essential.
