Lindsay Fresh Logistics is seeking a proactive and highly organised Fleet Allocator to join our operations team.
Based in Brisbane Markets, Rocklea, this full-time role plays a key part in ensuring the efficient scheduling and utilisation of our vehicle fleet, supporting the timely and reliable delivery of freight services across Queensland.
What You'll Do:
Coordinate and allocate fleet resources to meet daily customer delivery requirements
Monitor and adjust vehicle allocations in real-time to respond to delivery schedule changes, traffic, or operational needs
Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams to ensure seamless transport operations
Maintain accurate records of fleet activity, including vehicle usage and performance data
Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and support ongoing process improvements
Assist with vehicle maintenance scheduling and support overall fleet management
Ensure compliance with NHVR regulations and all relevant transport legislation
Provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders on delivery status
Make quick, informed decisions to reallocate fleet assets and maintain service continuity
What You'll Bring:
Minimum 2 years' experience in fleet allocation, transport coordination, or logistics operations
Proficiency in 1-Stop and Container Chain systems
Strong knowledge of import/export processes
Familiarity with Brisbane delivery routes, port operations, and container parks
High-level data entry and admin skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Excellent problem-solving and time management, especially under pressure
Clear communication skills, essential for interacting with diverse stakeholders
Solid understanding of transport compliance and road safety regulations
Adaptability and flexibility to handle last-minute changes and dynamic operational needs
